The back to school shopping is done and we are excited to start school tomorrow! So we don't forget something in the morning, we have put together a list of stuff to do the night before the 1st day of school! If you are a nervous mess like me, be sure to add tissues to your list!
Happy 1st day back everybody!
Are you ready for school to start?
That is an awesome checklist. We don't go back for another month, but we will be using this before we know it.
ReplyDeleteThank you for this,Yes we are just about ready now and my kids are looking forward to going back.
ReplyDeleteMy kids are not, but thankfully they still have some time to enjoy the summer :)
ReplyDeleteMine go back on the 12th of this month so not long to go now.
ReplyDeleteGreat list! My daughter still has a couple weeks left before starting her senior year. I think I'm the only parent ever that doesn't take first day of school pictures. But when I do actually remember, I can just text her and she'll send me a selfie :)
ReplyDeleteIt is getting to be that time of year again where all the kids are getting ready to go back to school. Love your list... anything that makes it go easier and less stress is a very good thing.
ReplyDeleteThis is about a month earlier than I'm used to. Michigan law requires public schools to start after Labor Day. It's kinda freaking me out to know so many are headed back already! But your tips are awesome!
ReplyDeleteWe made it out the door on time this morning with photos and everything! School was a madhouse this morning with everyone arriving, but we had fun with it. Thanks for reminding me to charge my batteries for the camera!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! I need this now that I will have two little girls in school!
ReplyDeleteI don't know if I'm ready for school to start in a couple of weeks. This is a great list, though! (I'm loving the new look, by the way!)
ReplyDeleteSame here in MA! I think our kids start the 3rd?
ReplyDeleteI am so glad we are home schooling our youngest so I do not have to worry - something about school in pi's sounds great! My oldest is going to be a senior and I am not ready for all the tears that will be coming this year (from me of course!).
ReplyDeleteSchool starts a month from today. I'm not ready! Love your checklist, it's very handy for those first mornings back!
ReplyDeleteGreat list I did my pictures the night before because when we leave in the mornings I have no light and they are already lagging so I dress them up the night before and they put the same clothes back on for the first day
ReplyDeleteGreat checklist! This will make that first day so much easier for parents of kids going back to school!
ReplyDeleteI'm definitely going to use this list! We don't need to bring a lunch or anything, but I would be SO UPSET if the camera wasn't charged! My son is starting Preschool this year...and I'm kinda dreading it!
ReplyDeleteGreat checklist! I'm sharing with all my friends who have little ones in school .
ReplyDeleteI hate when school starts summer is ending. Not ready for it to end yet.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe that school is already starting again, I feel like the summer began a week ago.
ReplyDeleteOh, this is good! School starting back doesn't really affect me either way...except for the traffic getting heavier LOL
ReplyDeleteGreat checklist. Hard to accept it is time for school again.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great checklist. It gets extremely difficult to remember everything when you have two kids, a job, a side job, and three dogs. Yeesh.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great list! We always get everything ready for the 1st day of School the night before, so this will help me not forget anything.
ReplyDeleteLove the advice to allow for first day photos AND setbacks. LOL. Great checklist.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great printable. A printable checklist will come in handy.
ReplyDeleteMy kiddo is also on the spectrum so our list would also include PECS.
ReplyDeleteGreat printable. Kiddo is with her mom during the week so we don't really have much chaos around here other than filling the backpack with school supplies and buying her a few outfits.
ReplyDeleteAnd we have 1 week to do all of this between sleep away camp an our family vacation! I just worry about clothes since my son grew so much and no longer wears kids sizes!
ReplyDeleteGreat little list! First day is always chaotic
ReplyDeleteThat is a great list. I am going to print this out for my kids.
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a good list. Fortunately, I'm an empty nester so I don't need to worry about back to school stuff.
ReplyDeleteYou guys are back to school so early. We don't go back until September.
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to my 17 year old being home and in bed earlier!
ReplyDeleteGreat printable. I am so looking forward to my kids going back to school :)
ReplyDeleteIt seems that all the blogs were just full of "what to do for summer break" posts and now WHAM- it is time for back to school. How times flies!
ReplyDeleteI love how pretty this checklist is. My girls have a checklist that guides them through the day, too. They are really handy!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great check list. It is hard to get back to the BTS schedule. I am so gald we homeschool :)
ReplyDeleteI would have loved a check list like this when my daughter was younger and I helped her get ready for school! Now, she is a senior in high school and doesn't want my help with any of that :D.
ReplyDeletePurchased the rest of our school supplies today. Except some how my son took the cleaning wipes out of the chart so they didn't make it home. :(
ReplyDeleteThat is perfect! I need one like this for every night minus the part about the Teacher's name! I know it would help get me organizer every night!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great checklist! I'm nervous because this is my daughter's first year of preschool, so I definitely need this checklist!
ReplyDeleteThat is such a great list. You forgot to add, fall asleep! lol
ReplyDeleteWhat a great checklist! They always told us what to buy for school back when I was in school :P
ReplyDeleteThe transportation plan always makes me worry. I stress that my kids won't remember their bus number all the way up until I see them get off of it lol. Great checklist!
ReplyDeleteCan I just say, I am NOT ready! I can't believe it's already that time!
ReplyDeleteThat doesn't mean I won't be printing out this checklist though. :)
I love checking things off the list. I will definitely be using this for Kindergarten!
ReplyDeleteThat's a good checklist. I don't pack until the morning (lunch) but everything else we do the night before. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat list, I'm totally stressing about everything I need to get done before school starts.
ReplyDeleteNice list. It's so important to be prepared. I forgot to take my little ones shoes to the first day two years ago.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea. My kids are grown but I definitely remember those hectic first days back.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a great idea, thanks for sharing. We have 20 more days of summer and I don't want school to start. I have enjoyed this Summer so much!
ReplyDeleteI agree; wonderful idea! I've noticed that one of my step-children will go extremely OCD without a plan for days like that and a checklist would take all of the stress out of it for him. Well, most of the stress :o)
ReplyDeleteThis is a great checklist! I am ready for some routine but will miss my girls while they're in school.
ReplyDeleteGreat check list! I'm dreading the back to school routine, but thankfully have about a month before I have to worry.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe we are already talking back to school. Boy does time go
ReplyDeleteThat is a good checklist to have. I know when I was a kid we would always forget SOMETHING on the first day of school, it became a tradition lol.
ReplyDeleteThat is one super cute printable! Love it!
ReplyDeleteI'm counting down the hours! I need to work in peace and quiet for a bit please. LOL
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of a "night before" checklist! It will help get everything organized ahead of time!
ReplyDeleteWhat a brilliant idea! I especially think having the camera ready is a good one! I am always unprepared with that!
ReplyDeleteGreat checklist! I would have loved something like this when my kids were younger. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWe are lucky school starts in Wisconsin after Labor Day. Thanks for the list - sharing!
ReplyDeleteGreat tips! Where'd the summer go?
ReplyDeleteWe're ready! Kindergarten this year, so I'm new to this. Thanks for the tips!
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure if I'm ready for school yet. I really enjoy my time off with my sons.
