(Almost) Wordless Wednesday: Soup's on!

While I was away this weekend, my hubby went above and beyond the call of duty! Not only did he host a party for 3 of his buddies and all of their kids, he also made his first "intentional" gluten-free meal! Apparently, M had requested gluten-free soup! My hubby picked a new recipe, took both kids to the grocery store, assisted M in the cooking process and he was sweet enough to take pictures of the whole thing!

He even set it all out and took a picture for me to share on the blog!

M cooling off a bite to sample!

The finished product- complete with gluten-free crackers and a carrot garnish!

I am so lucky to have a hubby that is 100% on board with M's GF diet.
Thanks Babe!

  55. We've been using sidewalk chalk for years. Sadly, our driveway is rather short. We are on two acres and only the small area in front of the garage is sidewalk and the rest is gravel. Kiddo doesnt seem to mind though. She will use every inch.

    ReplyDelete
  56. My niece loves to draw with sidewalk chalk. Our problem with her is that she likes to take it into the road when there aren't cars around so when the cars do come down the road they're paying attention to all her drawings.

    ReplyDelete
  57. what a great time! Our kid free spot is usually out to dinner or something. We do not have "a village" to really help when we need a break, so when we do get a break it's dinner and maybe some shopping.

  79. How odd I'd run across your post after just having a memorable experience at Zeal in Marietta only last Friday night. I posted my review of it on Yelp I was so upset with them.

The place definitely has a great atmosphere. I really liked that about it.

I'm not going to list everything that was wrong with my food, because that wouldn't be nice of me. And, even with all the bad luck I with my experience, I've decided to give them a chance at redemption and I'll be there on the 5th. I always give a place 2 tries before my final decision. Bad nights happen to all of them.

I'll be doing my review on them too. I sure hope my experience is a good one. My sister and her husband have talked about Zeal forever! They always loved it.
