Zeal Modern Eatery: Review and Coupon

Last week, I took M out to a "fancy" lunch at Zeal Modern Eatery in Marietta, Georgia. Zeal is a very welcome addition to the dining options in the Metro-Atlanta area. They provide diners with an in-town dining experience without the elevated prices and traffic.

One of the many reasons that I fell in love with Zeal, is that they offer unique seating options for their guests. Depending on the dining experience that you are looking for, you can choose from their two spacious patios, booths, tables, private lounge or expansive bar area. Zeal would be a great place for date night or a gathering with your buddies. M loved the shuffle board tables!

Now let's get to the good stuff! The menu at Zeal makes eating gluten-free easy and delicious. According to the head chef, almost every dish can be made to fit a gluten-free diet. Each appetizer, entree and dessert is clearly marked by a "GF" if it is served 100% gluten-free as is. The servers are both knowledgable and helpful when looking for the right meal. The kitchen is able to make substitutions on items that are not marked as GF.

M keeping it classy by drawing on the "grown-up" menu...

M had the kid's GF macaroni and cheese. I managed to sneak a bite and it was amazing.

My meal was glazed salmon over corn salsa and wilted spinach. This was, by far, one of the best meals that I have ever had. I ate as slowly as I could to savor each bite. I knew I would be sad when it was gone- and I was... until I saw the dessert menu! The dessert menu has several GF offerings to satisfy your sweet tooth. On this visit, we devoured the strawberry cheesecake complete with a gluten-free graham cracker crust.

Sneaky kiddo couldn't wait until I finished taking a picture...

I would like to thank the Zeal staff for making our "fancy" lunch a success! Our waiter even went out of his way to bring M sweet tea in tiny tea cups. We are looking forward to our next visit to Zeal. I am excited to have found a restaurant that has so many options for our gluten-free lifestyle. Both the menu and the staff make you feel welcome- no matter what your dietary restrictions are!

Cheers!
