The Perfect Gift for Dad: "Things Daddy Loves" Gift Basket

My children are lucky to have such and amazing father! My favorite time of day is when the kids hear the garage door open. They get all giddy and run around looking for a place to hide. I love listening to them giggling in their hiding spots as they anticipate his return. It never gets old watching my husband come up the stairs and start his daily search for the kiddos. Most days, they can't contain their excitement! My heart melts when they jump out and scream "SURPRISE DADDY!" His response is equally as enthusiastic- every single time. I love how much they love him and I love how much he adores them.

This year, in preparation for Father's Day, I asked the kids to assist me in coming up with gift ideas for their daddy. Their list was hilarious! I couldn't just pick one item to give as a gift- so we made him a gift basket of "Things Daddy Loves!" My hubby loved the thought that went into both the list and the basket.

The finished product- a personalized gift basket for Daddy!

The list that the kids came up with. Just FYI- "Daddy Juice" is what they call Powerade.

The kids were so proud of their gift basket!

He got a kick out of reading their list!

I loved helping my kids give a gift that was truly from them!

After the kids gave their daddy the gift basket, we spent the day just relaxing and spending quality time with family. I hope that you had a wonderful Father's Day and shared it with loved ones!

  27. Your kids are adorable and I love the little game they play with their Daddy. My sons are grown but they use to have similar fun routines they did when their Dad came home. Now my dogs look forward to when my husband comes home from work, LOL.
