To be perfectly honest, Hubby and I are horrible about not drinking water. We are always getting on to the kids about drinking water, but then we skip out on it. Sometimes I do crave a tall glass of ice cold water. But most of the time, I am looking for something with a little more flavor. I am not a fan of the flavor drops and powders because the after-taste is icky and I am not excited about adding junk into our water.
Last week, I decided that we should make "infused water." These recipes are a simple way to supercharge your water with vitamins and antioxidants. The best part about making infused water is that you can add different produce depending on what flavors or benefits you are going for. Plus, you never have to worry about gluten when you pick produce over packets! I was hosting a girl's spa day with Mary Kay- so I chose to include fruits that are known to assist in skin health.
