This weekend, M's "Leading Ladies" took Atlanta's Gluten-Free & Allergen-Free Expo by storm!
My first RED CARPET photo op!
Left to Right: M's ""Nonni," "Mommy," "Memaw" & "TT"
We sampled tons of gluten-free products, met some amazing people and lined up exciting product reviews for Puzzled Palate readers! There were so many products it would be impossible to share all of them with you in one post. I did make a list of my favorite companies. You will be hearing more about these companies in the upcoming weeks!
The Puzzled Palate's
GFAF Expo '14
Top 10 List
7. Pure Knead
10. The Kale Factory
My sister and mother-in-law enjoying a GF juice box after 2 hours of taste testing.
The expo had something for everyone, even Rachel- the queen of food allergies!
I fell in love with this adorable expo-goer! Jordan was workin' that red carpet!
What was the best part of the expo? The swag bags!
Luckily for you, we have more than our fair share. The Puzzled Palate is sending one lucky reader a swag bag packed with GF samples and over $25 in coupons!
Good luck!
Fancy - that's a HUGE swag bag. And I'm glad you met some cute little Allergen Free expo goers!

ReplyDeleteI loved the expo! It was amazing not to have to read every single label--or really, any of them! Everything was clearly marked with of the common allergens it had, and I could bypass a product or a table without any confusion or guilt. I stopped at Ingles on the way home and hunted down some of those brand new products I had seen, and found a few! Can't wait to crack open those boxes and enjoy some delicious GF snacks!
ReplyDeleteIt was so great to have a gluten-free geek out with you!
DeleteI just got back from BlogHer and sampled some great GF foods- I can't wait to try more. Hopefully I'll win the giveaway!

ReplyDeleteThis looked awesome, I'm in Canada so the giveaway probably doesn't work for me but it looked like fun in the photos, and the swag bag looks amazing!

ReplyDeleteHow awesome. Didn't know that there was an expo for gluten and allergen free food. I'll have to share with a few friends of mine.
ReplyDeleteLooks interesting, and I'm gld you had a good time. Though, as a wheat farmer, I have to say there seem to be way too many people choosing Gluten-free who don't actually need it for Celiac disease...and it makes it difficult for those of us who rely on the crops we grow to make ends meet.
ReplyDeleteUnderstood. Those people who are in it for the fad-diet concept will give it up soon! However, my daughter has Aspergers and this is making a huge difference for her.
DeleteI went to this on Sunday! Everybody was super nice...and I think I found a cake place for my daughter's baptism!
ReplyDeleteI am bummed that I only went on one day! Did you meet Gluten-Free Cutie? We set it up a visit for M to go there for a taste test!
DeleteI love that there are so many GF products available now. It used to be that you'd have to make everything if you wanted GF!
ReplyDeleteWell, I can say that I am shellfish free but not by choice. I'm totally allergic and my husband loves it so we're at a standstill there. It looks like you guys really enjoyed the expo though!
