Ready, set, go GLUTEN FREE!

Today is the beginning of a new chapter for my family. We have chosen to go gluten free as an attempt to relieve some of the struggles that our daughter deals with due to her Aspergers disorder.

Our decision was made after weeks of research and hearing first hand that a diet free of gluten can significantly improve the "fog" that autistic children feel on a day to day basis.
This blog is intended to be our gluten-free journal. We will share our trials, tribulations, failures and successes on our way through this new and exciting quest to help our daughter grow and thrive to be the person she deserves to be.

Starting tomorrow, I will share my attempts at going full on gluten free. You can look forward to yummy recipes, reviews on gluten free products, progress updates on how the new diet improves our daughter's life and of course pictures of our newly gluten free family!

  4. This is great. Being gluten free is so hard. There's so many things that have gluten in them that we don't even realize. I've been trying to be gluten free for 5-6 months. I post some gluten free recipes & snack ideas/food ideas on my blog too sometimes.
