I hope that everyone had a amazing Easter weekend with their friends and family! We are still not sure how our weekend flew by so fast. Our Saturday was packed with last minute preparations followed by an impromptu dinner with good friends. They even convinced me to get on a 4-wheeler for my first and possibly last time:)
On Easter Sunday, the kids woke up to Easter baskets packed with gluten-free basket fillers and gluten-free candy. We packed the car and headed over to spend the day at my sister and brother-in-law's house. The itinerary included egg dyeing, a 90% gluten-free meal and an Easter egg hunt for the kiddos. No worries- M only ate the GF options!
We had a great time sharing traditions with good company. Sorry in advance for the cliché...But a picture IS worth a million words! So here are a few million words worth of pictures from our Easter gathering.
Our family is full of egg-dyeing professionals!
Passing on the tradition to Peanut
Loving on my sweet girl
M with her aunt and egg dyeing mentor, "TT"
Busy Bunnies
Our hard work and focus paid off!
The Hubby swinging with M and Peanut.
My favorite egg this year! It was a rainbow- made with M's guidance.
She was great at finding the eggs.
Peanut still has a lot to learn to keep up with his big sister...
I hope that you enjoyed a glimpse into our Egg-cellant Easter celebration!
I have some good stuff to share this week- so stay tuned!

ReplyDeleteI have actually never dyed an Easter Egg before. I lived a very deprived childhood lol
ReplyDeleteI guess I'm pretty late with this comment since it's already summer. The kids looked like they had fun and I'm loving the colors of the eggs. :)
ReplyDeleteAww, how cute are they? We didn't dye eggs this year, because no one will eat them. I got ceramic eggs instead and let the kids go to town on them. LOL
ReplyDeleteWe love doing eggs! I make pickled eggs out of them afterwards so we don't wasted them :-)
